- Welcome to Skukuza Golf Club
- In 2022, Skukuza Golf Course celebrated its 50th anniversary – and marked the occasion with a beautiful new look and feel for its Golf Club. The extensive upgrades were undertaken by the Indalo Wiltshire Golf Course and include new greens which opened in February 2023.
- The course was first built as a recreational facility for Skukuza personnel and today all visitors to the Kruger National Park are welcome to enjoy the Golf Club’s newly renovated space, comfortable amenities and updated facilities.
- The Skukuza Golf Course is situated on the outskirts of Skukuza Rest Camp and the rich wildlife sanctuary surrounding the golf course is home to the Big Five, a huge variety of birds and countless animals – all of which provide the visitor with a harmonious close-to nature golfing experience
- The course is a Par 72, and is 5831m (6450 yards) for men and 4950m (5480 yards) for women. Since the course is not fenced-in, uninvited spectators are a common sight; hippo, impala, warthog and baboons to mention but a few. The course offers the pleasure of challenge and adventure. The Skukuza Golf Course has no bunkers, although ‘aerial bunkers’ abound because of the many trees found on the course.
