Royal Johannesburg West Course
Designed in 1927 by Laurie Waters, is a Par 72, 6,225-meter layout with Kikuyu fairways and tees and bent grass greens.
Recently rated 28th in Golf Digest’s Top 100 Courses in South Africa, the course features all-new greens and bunker complexes.
Its sweeping fairways and generous-sized greens provide an enjoyable challenge for players of all levels. The West Course is shorter than the East Course but offers a distinct and memorable golfing experience. Royal Johannesburg hosts the biggest annual professional golf event in Africa, the Joburg Open. Superb conditioning all year round.
