Accommodation choices include a first-floor Penthouse with 180° ocean views, Executive and Deluxe ocean rooms, Classic and Standard rooms, plus two-bedroom self-catering apartments. Most units feature sliding doors or private patios, king/twin bedding options, full en-suite bathrooms (selected rooms feature freestanding baths), percale bedding, DStv/flat-screen TVs and tea/coffee stations. - Rates and payments: All rates are quoted in South African Rands and include 15% VAT (subject to change). Foreign payments accepted at the daily bank exchange rate valid in South Africa on the date payment is received. All rates are subject to change without notice.
- Room charging: Guesthouse Rooms (sleep 2 adults) are charged at double or single rate and include breakfast in the upstairs dining area (07:30 – 09:30). Two-Bedroom Suites/Self-Catering Apartments (sleep 4) are charged per person and exclude breakfast; breakfast can be booked at the Guesthouse at an additional charge.
- Deposit and payment: A 50% deposit payment is required to confirm a reservation, with full payment due on arrival. For last-minute reservations (less than 1 day prior to arrival) full payment is required upon confirmation. Reservations made by travel agents/tour operators must be paid in full at least 30 days prior to arrival. Peak season reservations (December & July) require full payment 60 days prior to arrival.
- Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days; thereafter automatically released, except during peak season and holidays where deposits are payable within 48 hours.
- Check-in: 14:00 – 18:00 | Check-out: 07:00 – 10:00. Late check-in/out must be arranged in advance. Rooms will be held until 18:00 on day of arrival unless otherwise agreed.
- Guesthouse facilities (lounge, bar, patio, TV room) are for the exclusive use of guests staying in the Guesthouse rooms and Suites. On the Beach Guesthouse reserves the right to change room allocations without notice but will endeavour to honour requests.

- General conditions and fees: All rooms are strictly non-smoking. Smoking indoors will incur a R3000 steam-clean penalty. Guests are liable for deep stains on bedding or towels (e.g., nail polish, wine, coffee, blood, sunblock) — a R500 cleaning fee applies; irreparable items will be charged to the guest. Lost room keys incur a replacement fee of R500. Strictly no pets allowed. Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay; costs for repair or replacement will be charged to the guest’s account.
- Child policy: Two-Bedroom Suites/Apartments: children of all ages welcome. Guesthouse Rooms: children 12 years and older welcome, paying full adult rate.
- Cancellation policy: 30% cancellation fee if cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival. 50% cancellation fee if cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival. 100% cancellation fee if cancelled less than 3 days prior to arrival or for no-shows. Peak Season (July & December): 100% cancellation fee if cancelled 30 days or less prior to arrival. Refunds are subject to a 10% administration fee.
