The Old Course at St Andrews is one of the world’s most famous golf courses and a must-play for enthusiasts. Laid out over traditional Scottish linksland, the Old Course has hosted major championships and generations of golfers; its historic features and wide fairways define links golf at its purest.
Players encounter classic links elements: strategic bunkering including the famous ‘Hell Bunker’, firm, fast fairways, and iconic landmarks such as the Swilcan Bridge and the Road Hole. Situated in the historic town of St Andrews, the Old Course is surrounded by golfing heritage and other links courses, practice areas and the R&A. The Kithmore brings relaxed, local hospitality to the heart of St Andrews. Set across three Georgian townhouses on North Street, just a short walk from the Old Course, and well placed for everything the town has to offer. The building dates back to 1847, with its original character kept in place and everything else made to feel considered and comfortable.
