Itinerary and Key Activities Overview
A detailed 6-day program including golf rounds, guided tours, gastronomy experiences, and scenic excursions in San Sebastián, Biarritz, Getaria, Zumaia, and Basozabal.
Day 1: Arrival and San Sebastián Old Town Tour
Guests arrive in San Sebastián, check into Hotel Barceló Costa Vasca, and enjoy a walking tour of the Old Town with pintxos tasting, highlighting Basque gastronomy and vibrant streets.
Day 2: Golf at Chiberta and Biarritz Excursion
Morning breakfast, transfer to Chiberta Golf (Anglet), an 18-hole course designed in 1927 by Tom Simpson, featuring seaside and pine forest holes, sandy terrain, and a renovated practice range (2022). Optional 9-hole course L’Impératrice for quick rounds or beginners. Afternoon visit to Biarritz with free time.
Day 3: Golf at Real Club de San Sebastián and Hondarribia Visit
Morning transfer to Hondarribia for golf at Real Club de San Sebastián, founded in 1910, with an 18-hole course designed by Pierre Hirigoyen, set on undulating terrain. Facilities include driving range, putting greens, and sports courts. Visit Hondarribia and cross to Hendaye, France. Optional dinner at a cider house.
Day 4: Coastal Tour of Getaria and Zumaia
Breakfast, guided Basque coast tour, visit to Flysch cliffs in Zumaia, lunch in Zumaia, visit to Getaria, and free afternoon for relaxation.
Day 5: Golf at Basozabal and Leisure Time
Transfer to Real Nuevo Club de Golf de Basozabal, designed by José María Olazábal, opened in 1990, with an 18-hole, par-72 course featuring undulating fairways and panoramic views. The course demands precision and strategy. Free time in San Sebastián afterward.
Day 6: Departure
Breakfast, transfer to airport, concluding the trip.
