- Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge is a magnificent lodge concession awarded by the North West Parks and Tourism Board within the existing Pilanesberg Game Reserve.
- It lies in an exclusive-use zone in the south-western portion of the 57,250ha Big 5 and malaria-free Reserve, offering commanding views of the distant bushveld amphitheater. The Lodge acts as a central gathering spot and social environment for guests, as well as the point from which all activities depart and return.
- Guests can enjoy two guided game drives daily, which are conducted in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve’s Wilderness Area during the morning and evening in an open 10-seater game viewing vehicle. These outings take three to four hours, with a sundowners stop at sunset, and a coffee shop in the morning.
